Fees

If you have never arranged a funeral before you may not be aware of the costs involved.

Paying for the Funeral

We will be open and honest with you about what things cost – our funeral price guide will give you an indication of the sort of fees involved.

After we’ve spoken to you about the type of funeral you wish to be arranged , we will give you an estimate of costs involved. You can make changes at this stage if you wish, but do remember that this could affect the cost.

Please talk to us as soon possible if you are worried about how much things cost and how you are going to pay for them. We may be able to make some adjustments or help you access any grants that you may be eligible for. Not everyone is eligible for these payments and they may not cover the full cost of the funeral.

Our Funeral Price Guide

Each funeral is unique so the costs will vary, depending on your wishes. Once you have discussed what you would like, we will provide a full cost breakdown. We can adjust certain elements of this if required, but please be aware that some fees are unavoidable.

The costs of the funeral will include the following:To help give you an idea of the typical costs involved please do contact us. If you have any questions or are unsure about anything we will be pleased to answer any questions.

The costs of the funeral will include the following:

  • Professional Fees – Provision of all professional services including appropriate advice, support and guidance. All personnel necessary to make the funeral arrangements including completion of all documentation and liaison with all necessary third parties
  • Caring for the deceased – bringing them into our care, preparation and presentation, including the use of a private viewing room
  • The coffin or casket
  • Additional charges such as a hearse, limousines, flowers, orders of service
  • Third party payments made on your behalf such as flowers, cemetery/crematoria fees, newspaper notices, doctor’s fees, officiant fees etc

Some of these costs – such as fees – are fixed; others will depend on the choices you make.

No one wants you to worry about money at a time like this – and we don’t want anyone to take on debt that they cannot handle – so talk to us if you are worried about how you will pay for the funeral before you sign the estimate.

You will receive the invoice around a week after the funeral. Our terms are 28 days from the invoice date. Please contact us as soon as possible with any queries or concerns. You can pay by cash, cheque or card at our offices, by card on the telephone or by post using a cheque. If required, we can send the invoice to your solicitor and liaise with them.

Please contact us as soon as possible with any queries or concerns.
